Nikon 14-24 still king of the hill
Must be a small hil!
Those 2 photos speak for them selves
The vignette on the Canon is horried
I’m surprised that a recent 3000 dollars lens can’t beat a much older and cheaper lens like 14-24mm f2.8. The center sharpness is almost on pair, with a slightly advantage for the Nikon but the corners, even center corner at 14mm the nikon simple smash it with hands down.
I believe that the Nikon can beat even at 2.8 easily In sharpness, contrast and vignette at center corner.

Curiously, this site say that the Canon 14mm 2.8 LII is on pair with the Nikon 14-24… but everybody knows that is not the truth. I think it’s because people don’t shoot MTF charts to post it in any review site.
The Canon looks pretty good to me: http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/ISO-12233-Sample-Crops.aspx?Lens=454&Camera=453&Sample=0&FLI=0&API=4&LensComp=615&CameraComp=614&SampleComp=0&FLIComp=0&APIComp=4
