According to recently rumors from SAR, Sony will update their A-mount prime lenses in next several months. Two prime lenses will get updated: Sony Zeiss 135mm f/1.8 A-mount lens and Sony Zeiss 85mm f/1.8 A-mount lens.
Source said there will be not much change in the new version. The main update is Auto focus performance and other small changes.
Recently, Sony has a rebate on most A-mount lenses including these two lenses.
