According to CR, it is rumored that Canon will finally announce the replacement of current EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens soon.
The rumors said that the new EF 50mm f/1.4 lens will still not have IS feature, will have ring type USM, instead of the new macro USM we’ve seen in the new EF-S 18-135 IS.
