Nikon recently has announced the new Nikon D5 (Amazon, B&H Photo Video, Adorama) flagship full frame DSLR camera at CES 2016. So when will Canon release their 1D X Mark II ? CanonRumors has confirmed that Canon EOS-1D X Mark II will be announced in February or March of 2016. Probably at CP+ Show in Japan in February, and 1D X Mark II will start shipping in April, 2016.
The only specs of Canon EOS 1D X Mark confirmed yet is that it will have 4K video recording as Nikon D5. The suggested retail price for Canon EOS-1D X Mark II is $5,999, cheaper than Nikon D5.
