According to trusted source from CR, Canon is working on multi-layer sensor tech for upcoming professional full frame DSLR cameras. There will be two full frame DSLR with this multilayer sensor.
One will be the successor of Canon EOS-1D X, the other is a high megapixel full frame camera. This high MP sensor DSLR will be announced in early 2015, as source said “coming sooner than later”.
