A small update for the upcoming Canon super telephoto zoom lens EF 200-600mm f/4.5-5.6 IS USM lens. According to CR, this lens will be officially announced before Photokina 2016 in September, probably in August. And the price tag will be around $1,700, a bit cheaper than Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 OS Sports lens.
This lens will not be an L lens as rumored before, and no weather-sealing. There already a lens patent for this lens in late 2015.
