Best microphones for Canon PowerShot V1: DM-E1D Overall on the digital multi-function shoe, DM-E100 for official 3.5 mm plug-in power, VideoMicro as the light analog TRS — not Mic 3, not a USB mic in Type-C, not 32-bit in the camera file.
Canon EOS R8 ND guide: 24.2MP, no IBIS, uncropped 4K60, Canon Log 3, no internal ND. PolarPro 67mm 2–5 first for RF 24–105 STM — not the R6 Mark II’s 82mm default.
Canon EOS R6 Mark II ND guide: 24.2MP hybrid, 4K60 oversampled, C-Log3 at ISO 800 (not C-Log2), no internal ND. PolarPro 82mm 2–5 first — 6–9 is the C-Log3 noon add-on, unlike R5 Mark II.
Canon EOS R5 Mark II ND guide: 45MP stacked, 8K60 RAW, 4K120, C-Log2 around ISO 800, no internal ND. PolarPro 82mm 6–9 first on RF 24–70 / 70–200.
The Canon EOS R6 (2020) is a 20.1 MP full-frame hybrid with 5-axis IBIS, a vari-angle 3.0-inch monitor, and dual UHS-II SD slots. Body-with-battery is about 680 g. The RF 24–105mm F4 L IS USM that Canon used for the 8-stop CIPA rating adds 700 g, so the usual travel kit is ~1.4 kg on…
The Canon EOS Rebel T7 (EOS 2000D / Kiss X90) is a 24.1 MP APS-C DSLR with no in-body stabilization, a fixed 3.0-inch monitor, and a pentamirror you actually look through. Body-with-battery is about 475 g. The kit EF-S 18-55mm IS II adds optical IS; the EF 75-300mm that ships in many two-lens kits does…
The Canon EOS Rebel T7 (EOS 2000D / Kiss X90; the same instruction manual also covers EOS 1500D) is a 24.1 MP APS-C DSLR with one SD slot and no card in the box. Canon’s spec sheet is blunt: SD / SDHC / SDXC, compatible with SD Speed Class, not compatible with UHS Speed Class….
The ELPH 360 HS writes JPEG and 30 Mbps Full HD, not 4K. Canon timed that stream on Speed Class 10. The 2026 card is a 64 GB SanDisk Extreme SDXC — not a V90 UHS-II slab.
The R5 Mark II has Type A HDMI, 4K 59.94p 10-bit out, and 8K60 RAW already inside. Overall: Atomos Shinobi II. Value: Feelworld LUT6. Budget: Desview R6 UHB. Skip PT6 and the regular Ninja for 8K RAW.
