Why this mini. The S1 II is already a brick. TT350O adds TTL, HSS, and a radio master without another 580 g on the shoe. Two AAs, GN36 — indoor bounce and fill, not overpowering noon at 1/250. It can command bigger Godox lights so the on-camera unit is only the trigger. Recycle and power are why it is Budget. The old Budget was TT350P — same mini, wrong letter in the headline.

FL580L is the flash Panasonic documents for optical wireless on this body. It is also a $400+ native SKU whose off-camera language is FL channels, not Godox 2.4 GHz. If you already own FL580L / FL360L, keep them. Do not buy one to “unleash” an S1 II that already TTL-talks to a $120 TT685II-O.

Panasonic documents no flash during SH burst recording. Electronic / silent paths are the same family of no-tube modes on Lumix bodies. Set Mechanical when the speedlight matters. 70 fps Speed Priority is available light.
Is sync 1/250 s in every mode?
No. Official copy: less than 1/250 s, GN drops at 1/250, and that figure is for S/M. P/A is 1/200 s in Panasonic’s flash-speed table. Faster than X-sync is HSS on a compatible O-foot unit, with the usual power loss.
Is it V1Pro P or V1Pro O?
