Best GaN Charger for iPad Pro
The current iPad Pro spec, the M5 model, puts a 20W USB-C adapter in the box. That adapter does not meet the fast-charge line. Apple says about 50% in 30 minutes needs the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, or another USB-C adapter of 60W or higher. The Anker Nano 70W lists 20V at 3.5A on one port, at $39.99. Reviewed October 2026 · in-box adapter 20W · fast charge 60W or higher · M5 iPad Pro spec page
One USB-C port lists 70W at $39.99. That is above the iPad’s 60W line and $30 under the 100W charger. The 45W + 22.5W two-port row does not clear 60W.

How We Picked
The fast-charge line is 60W. The adapter in the box is 20W.
- 60W or higher. Apple’s iPad Pro spec page says fast charge is about 50% in 30 minutes with the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, or with another USB-C adapter of 60W or higher. The included adapter is 20W. The 11-inch battery is 31.29 Wh and the 13-inch battery is 38.99 Wh.
- 70W at $39.99. The Anker Nano 70W lists 20V/3.5A. Two ports are 45W + 22.5W, which misses 60W, or 60W + 5W, which meets 60W on the high port only.
- 100W shared. The Anker Prime lists a 100W two-port total at $69.99, so the iPad can stay at or above 60W with a phone attached. The UGREEN Nexode 140W lists 140W at $89.99, which the iPad page does not require.

| Model on the US page | B121A |
| One USB-C port | Up to 70W, 20V/3.5A |
| Two ports | 45W + 22.5W, or 60W + 5W |
| Three ports | 45W + 7.5W + 7.5W |
| PPS | Not printed in the output table |
| Size | Japan page: 53 × 43 × 32 mm, about 120 g |
Apple’s fast-charge sentence asks for 60W or higher. This single-port row is 20V/3.5A, which is 70W. The included 20W adapter does not qualify. Of the two-port rows, 60W + 5W still meets 60W on the high port, and 45W + 22.5W does not.
A second port changes the math. Two ports are 45W plus 22.5W, or 60W plus 5W. Three ports are 45W plus 7.5W plus 7.5W. The 70W figure is the single-port ceiling. The Japan page lists 53 × 43 × 32 mm and about 120 g, and it says the cable is not included. The EU and CA pages list a 4.9 ft USB-C cable in the box. Those box lists do not match, so this article does not treat a cable as included.

| Model | A2688 |
| One USB-C port | Up to 100W, 20V/5A |
| Two ports | 100W total, not 100W on each port |
| Three ports | 89W total |
| USB-A | Up to 22.5W |
| PPS | Not printed in the output table |
| Size | 43.5 × 29 × 67.8 mm, 170 g. Foldable prongs |
The Nano’s 45W phone split drops the iPad under 60W. The Prime’s two-port total is 100W, so the iPad can keep 60W or more and the phone takes the rest. That is the reason for the extra $30. The iPad page does not ask for 100W on its own.
The product description says full 100W for each USB-C port. The output table says two ports share a 100W total, and three ports share 89W. Both USB-C ports do not deliver 100W at the same time. The output table does not print a PPS range, so this brick is not the pick for a phone whose fast-charge line is PPS. Foldable prongs and a 170 g shell are the travel case for a 100W laptop, not for a 16-inch MacBook Pro.

| USB-C1 | Up to 140W, including 28V/5A. PPS 3.3–21V/5A |
| USB-C2 | Up to 100W, 20V/5A. PPS 3.3–21V/5A |

| Size | 2.99 × 2.99 × 1.38 in, 10.6 oz on the US page |
The iPad spec does not publish a benefit past 60W for this fast-charge sentence. This charger lists 140W anyway. At $89.99 it costs $50 more than the charger that already clears 60W on one port.
Skip it when the device’s published line is 70W or 100W and nothing else on the desk needs 140W or a printed PPS range. The US list price is $89.99. UGREEN’s own note says a 16-inch MacBook Pro needs a USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable to take 140W from this brick. Apple’s fast-charge page says the same 16-inch path is a 140W adapter plus that MagSafe cable, or a 140W adapter plus a 240W USB-C charge cable on a 16-inch model from November 2023 or later.
If You Need Something Else
The adapter in the box is 20W. Apple’s fast-charge sentence starts at 60W, so that included adapter is not a stand-in for these cards. The 140W card is a laptop case, not a cheaper iPad case.
Frequently Asked Questions
What adapter ships with the current iPad Pro?
Apple’s spec page lists a 20W USB-C power adapter and a 1 m USB-C cable. Fast charge is described separately.
What Apple calls fast charge on this iPad Pro
About 50% in around 30 minutes with the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, or with another USB-C adapter of 60W or higher.
Which Nano two-port row still meets 60W
60W + 5W meets it on the high port. 45W + 22.5W does not. Three ports are 45W + 7.5W + 7.5W, which also misses 60W.
Why the 100W charger costs more without raising the iPad’s published line
The iPad line is 60W. The extra $30 keeps a 100W two-port total, so a phone can share the brick without forcing the 45W split.
Which iPad Pro this page is about
The live Apple spec page used here is the M5 iPad Pro. The 11-inch battery is 31.29 Wh and the 13-inch battery is 38.99 Wh. This article does not split M4 and M5 into two wattages.
Final Verdict
The current iPad Pro includes a 20W adapter and fast-charges from 60W or higher. The Anker Nano 70W lists 20V/3.5A at $39.99, so it is the overall pick. The Anker Prime 100W costs $30 more and keeps a 100W two-port total, so the iPad can stay above 60W with a phone attached. The UGREEN Nexode 140W costs $89.99 and is more than the iPad page asks for.
