Nikon has filed several lens patents for adding a fluorite element (FL) to their high-end super telephoto prime lenses. First two super telephoto prime lenses to be announced will be AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4E FL ED VR Lens and AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4E FL ED VR Lens.
