Zeiss has finally released full spces and MTF charts for the new announced Batis 85mm f/1.8 lens (B&H | Adorama) and Batis 25mm f/2 lens (B&H | Adorama). Both lenses will be released in early July, 2015.

Diglloyd has posted first MTF Charts for the new announced Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 lens and Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2 lens.
Canon just announced the EF-M 11-22mm f/4-5.6 IS STM – an image-stabilized wideangle zoom for its EOS M mirrorless camera. It’s Canon’s first wide zoom with IS, promising three stops of stabilization for stills and ‘Dynamic IS’ for video. A linear stepper motor offers silent autofocus during movie shooting, and a retractable barrel design makes the lens about the same size as the 18-55mm kit zoom when collapsed.

Canon has announced the EF 200-400mm f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x – a top-end telephoto zoom with a built-in switchable teleconverter, whose development was first announced back in February 2011. Simply flicking a lever at the rear of the barrel converts it to a 280-560mm f/5.6 lens. Designed for professional sports and wildlife photographers, it includes an array of top-end features such as Power Focus for movie shooting, and IS ‘mode 3’ that only applies stabilisation at the point of exposure, aiding panning. It also offers weathersealed construction, 4-stop image stabilisation, and a minimum focus distance of 2m.

Nikon USA announced AF-S NIKKOR 800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR with AF-S TELECONVERTER TC800-1.25E ED lens. The new AF-S NIKKOR 800mm f/5.6E FL ED VR super-telephoto lens provides professional photographers the opportunity to get close to a subject with the longest fixed focal length lens in the NIKKOR family. Designed for the needs of sports, wildlife and news photographers, the 800mm features a maximum aperture of f/5.6 and gives FX-format photographers the chance to capture intense detail and textures that fill the frame from a distance. Included with the new lens is the matched AF-S Teleconverter TC800-1.25E ED which has been developed exclusively for the 800mm f/5.6 lens.
