DxOMark recently has reviewed the new AF-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR Lens (Amazon | B&H Photo Video | Adorama), a VR lens cost $2,397 when launch, $600 more than original G-type version. The DxOMark score seems lower than original version and Tamron SP 24-70mm lens when all tested on Nikon D810. See the test result below:
