Sony A99 Full Frame DSLR release date, Rumored Specs

Sony A99 is the new Sony Full Frame DSLR to be released in 2012. From all kinds of rumors, It is said Sony A99 release date will be in August, 2012. With a Zeiss 50mm F1.4 lens (about $700).

  • There’s no Bayer filter
  • It is a ISO 100-25600 and extendable to a 50 & 102400
  • There’s no infrared
  • There’s no anti-alias filter/s
  • Twelve frames/second
  • There is digital filtering (infrared) with 3 modes- WITH IR, NO IR, ONLY IR
  • 102 cross-type AF points
  • An in-camera moiré remove
  • The metering is direct from the sensor
  • There is a focal plane bulb shutter, 60/1-1/24000 seconds
  • There is a GPS that is built-in for convenience
  • There’s also Wi-Fi plus thunderbolt
