Nikon is planning to update a new telephoto prime lens in late this year. Rumors from NR said, a new AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/4G VR lens will be announced soon, to replace the current AF-S NIKKOR f/4D ED-IF lens.

This new 300mm f/4G lens will have a better image quality just like 80-400mm upgrade early this year.

Nikon will also announce three new cameras around CES 2014: Nikon D4X, Nikon D1000 (entry level DX model), and an unknown camera could be a mirrorless or SLT based or a retro design.
