Nikon is rumored to announce a new FX lens AF-S Nikkor 18–35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED at the end of this month on CP+ show at Japan.
It is expected that this new 18–35mm f/3.5–4.5G will be the lightest FX zoom lens in Nikon’s lens lineup. Here are some specs of this lens:

- Weight: under 400 g/14 oz
- Lens design: 12 elements in 8 groups
